Meet the Team
Hello! This is the first word you will hear from me when I great you. My goal is to make you feel welcome when you walk into our office. I truly believe being enthusiastic and positive is contagious.
I joined Atchison Dental Associates in 2003. I grew up on a farm outside of Lancaster. I am married to Tony and have two sons and two daughters. Spending time with my family, playing with our two dogs, gardening, and being outdoors is what I enjoy outside of work.
You might say, I've been around a long time.....and boy have I seen a few changes. We now have 3 doctors, several team members and a newly renovated office. I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you might have at the front desk. I began my employment with Dr. Reavis in 1984, because there was an opportunity for a job, however over the years this job has turned into so much more. This job has given me the ability to help people like you with your oral health needs. I can help you get the most out of your insurance and answer any questions you may have. My husband Pat and I live on a farm just outside of Atchison. We have two grown daughters, Hanna and Rachel. With my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and cooking/baking.
Lori Scholz, RDH
I began my career in dentistry at the age of fourteen in an orthodontic office. During the next eight years I went from gathering trash to office manager, while enjoying the relationships I developed with patients. I also, graduated from Johnson County Community College Dental Hygiene Program where I earned the I Care Award, during this time period. It was a dream come true when Daniel Corrigan DDS asked me to be his hygienist. Sadly, I was only able to practice with Dr. Corrigan for five years. When one door closes another opens. Fortunately, Dr. Reavis was looking for a hygienist. Since February 1, 1993 this has been my home. I have been privileged to be involved in the evolution of Atchison Dental Associates. I have been honored to form relationships that have encompassed three generations. I will be eternally grateful for these everlasting bonds. Equally invaluable is the love and respect I have for everyone that I get to share my days with at the office. I am blessed to have a wonderful family: my husband, who is a foreman for JEDunn; a daughter, who is a member of K-State's Livestock Judging Team; a daughter who will graduate from Cloud County Community College this spring and then move to San Diego with her Marine husband; and a son who attends Atchison County Community High School and Highland Community College's Electrical Program. We have a cow/calf and row crop farming operation outside of Lancaster. We enjoy being involved in church, 4-H, sporting events, and traveling-especially to beaches!! I would love the opportunity to share my dental knowledge and experiences with you!

I became a part of the Atchison Dental Associates family in 2003 and graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Johnson County Community College in 2004. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, I enjoy forming relationships with patients, making dental care stress free, and educating patients on the benefits of complete oral care to their overall health. When I am not providing care as a dental hygienist, I can can often be found in the front office of our practice. I have knowledge and experience with both the administrative and clinical sides of dentistry. I look forward to scheduling your next appointment, answering any questions you have and helping you achieve a smile to be joyful about! I live in Horton with my husband and our Boston Terrier. I love golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I joined Atchison Dental Associates in 2005 after graduating from the dental hygiene program at Johnson County Community College. I enjoy and pride myself on forming a lasting friendship with my patients, making your dental experience enjoyable. I will do my best to help you achieve your oral health goals.
When not working my husband John, sons Cohen and Broxton and I keep busy on our farm. We enjoy cattle shows and sporting events. There is never a dull moment! I can't wait to meet you and learn about all the blessings in your life!
Wendi Miller, RDH
Hello, my name is Wendi Miller, I'm so glad you decided to view my profile. Let me tell you a little bit about my self. My husband, Mike and I own/operate Millers Excavating, Inc. in Oskaloosa. I have two step sons, Justin and Colton, along with two daughters, Madison and Megan. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching competitive softball games, being involved in 4-H, gardening, crafting, sewing, traveling and showing/riding horses. I decided to pursue dental hygiene because of the ability to work individually with patients, the flexibility, and job opportunities. I graduated from Johnson County Community College Dental Hygiene Program, where I received the Spirit Award and Paradise Dental Technologies Award. I joined Atchison Dental Associates in 2008. I feel very at home here and want you to feel the same when you come to our office. I feel very privileged to be a part of this great team and look forward to getting to know you better.
Chelsey Hoffman, RDH
I always knew I wanted to work in the healthcare field. After seven years of orthodontic treatment I discovered my love for dentistry. I attended Washburn University and later finished my prerequisites through Highland Community College. I worked as a dental assistant locally before entering into the dental hygiene program at UMKC. I have since graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Before practicing full time at Atchison Dental Associates, I worked full time in Parkville Missouri and part time at Atchison Community Health Clinic as the Dental Hygiene Coordinator. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you with your oral health needs.
I live in Nortonville with my husband Blake and son, Kaden. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and pets.
Megan Erpelding, CDA
My life in dentistry started years ago when my long time hygienist asked if I had ever thought of a career change. Not knowing what the practice of dentistry entailed, I knew I had a lot to learn, but was excited to give it a go! I have strived to continually learn and have achieved certification through the Dental Assisting National Board, the State of Kansas, and am also a longtime member of the American Dental Assistants' Association. As a chairside assistant and hygiene provider, I am able to share my knowledge with others, which makes my happy! It is important for me to be able to give you a "wow" dental experience and know that you are leaving the office better than when you came in! I look forward to continued relationships with each of you that I have had the privilege to serve over the years and opportunity to share with those I have yet to meet. I have been blessed in life on a personal and professional level and look forward to the years to come.
I also find happiness in spending time with my husband of over 20 years. We enjoy a lot of outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
I've always wanted to work in the medical field and help others. I worked for home health many years but wanted to help all ages. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work in dentistry which did allow me to work with all ages of patients. I truly enjoy helping people like you with your smile and it's been the most rewarding experiences.
My husband and I have been married for many years. We have three grown children; Tyson, Gunnar, and Caylon. As a family we love dirt track racing. I spend most of my summers watching my husband Paul and sons race. Since 2003 I've been the cheerleading coach for Maur Hill-Mount Academy. I sincerely like coaching the young ladies and watching them grow into successful young women.
As an avid dog lover, I spend most of my days playing with my three dogs Zeus, Ares, and Roscoe. When I'm not spoiling them, I love traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people.
As a young girl I thought I would like to work in a dental office. Would I want to be a dental assistant or dental hygienist? In my mind helping others feel great about their health along with creating smiles is very rewarding. When the opportunity was there to work as a dental assistant I was thrilled! I have work in both medical and dental practices, however I have to say, dentistry is my favorite. I have a passion to help others. The joy I get when I am a part of the team that makes positive differences is priceless to me. Atchison Dental Associates is that place to make those differences. I have worked at Atchison Dental since 2015, nonetheless I have been a patient here since I was a child.
My family is from Atchison where I graduated from Atchison County Community High School. After high school I attended Northeast Kansas Technical Center. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. We live on our family farm where we enjoy being outside. I sincerely look forward to meeting you!
